Several sites in the Darwin Glacier area have been selected for study by terrestrial researchers. Preliminary sampling is scheduled for the 2006/2007 season with the main operational seasons in 2007/2008 and 2008/2009. Main study sites identifued are Lake Wilson, Diamond Hill and the area at the foot of the Foggydog Glacier. Sub-sites have been located on the Darwin Glacier and in the Darwin and Brittania Mountains.
