As the Beardmore Glacier site is the southernmost site for the LGP it is also the most logistically challenging. This site will be the last one to be studied in the LGP. The US Antarctic programme is planning to support a camp in the Beardmore region in the 2010/2011 season. At least two LGP events will be supported from this camp in collaboration with the US programme.
